Island Iron Craft is Dave Kneale
Growing up on the family farm in Jurby, Dave couldn't help but learn all the practical skills that go hand in hand with farming under the philosophy of "if it's broken, fix it". While his brothers stayed in farming, Dave moved to the UK to spend many years in the fabrication industry, mainly working on large scale building projects, gaining extensive practical and creative experience in the art of metal fabrication and welding.
In 2015, Dave returned home to the Isle of Man for a better and more satisfying way of life, using his knowledge and skills to start a new chapter, Island Iron Craft. If it can be cut, bent, welded, sandblasted or powder coated, Dave is your man, the man. It's not surprising that Island Iron Craft has grown into a flourishing and widely respected Manx crafting and fabrication business, and it has done so without losing the friendly and personal nature of a small business.
At the heart of Island Iron Craft is a belief in crafting high quality items, built to last and to be enjoyed for many years to come, a tonic to the throw-away culture so prevalent in the world today. So, we invite you to explore the site, be inspired, and join Dave's many happy customers in owning and cherishing your very own piece of Island Iron Craft.
